On our last day in the Lake District we stopped at Bowness for an Air Show and Fairground. Charlotte saw the fairground as one, dream play-ground and had no idea of the fact that each ride had a hefty fare attached! Thankfully her dear Grandparents were extremely generous and she absolutely delighted in feeling the thrill of a few fairground rides, but at close to two pounds, per person, per ride, it wasn’t cheap!
But for the memories and the smile on her face, it was worth it.
