The day before we left England, after three wonderful weeks touring through the countryside of England and Wales, with Grandma and Grandad, we visited the Warner Brothers Studio in London where the Harry Potter movies were made.
The experience was well worth it and we left feeling in awe of the artistry, creativity and technological wizardry that went into making the movies.
The costumes, props and sets were all amazing and Alice was so excited to open the doors to ‘The Great Hall’.
Alice had a wonderful introduction into how a green screen works, enjoying the opportunity to sit upon a broom-stick and partake in a little movie making magic.
She enjoyed tasting a ‘Butter Beer’…
and seeing the famous train, ‘The Hogwarts Express’…
We couldn’t leave without a classic photo of her running into platform 9 and 3/4!
It was amazing to see the design work of the sets and to see a huge scale model of Hogwarts.
Diagon Alley was magical, just as we expected and it awoke that childhood feeling of ‘everything is possible’ in all of us.
