Wardrobe Wednesday – Casual with a little butterfly inspired colour

Today was a glorious autumnal day in Wellington, that actually didn’t feel anything like autumn – except for the morning temperature of 13 degrees centrigrade… which within an hour had rocketed up to a lovely 23 degrees centigrade. I was heading into Wellington city feeling a little chilly in my summery shorts – but the chill soon got lost in the wonderful sunshine.

Accompanying me was my princess of style – Miss 7 – rocking it in a green dress from ‘Pumpkin Patch’ and sporting her new haircut and…

Miss 3, Alice, sported a fancy tutu, enjoying the luxury of wearing whatever she wishes, for any occasion, and looking good in it.

We had a fabulous morning, with a ‘weekend’ feel in town as three cruise liners were visiting for the day – which brought out the craft stalls, lining the waterfront.

I felt just right in my casual white shorts and singlet, with a little butterfly shaped top giving a little dash of colour. I asked my 7 year old daughter to snap these shots of me, playfully ‘working’ my outfit!

So much fun! And that’s what this is all about – having a little fun, once a week!
