Art theme for Lyrical Sunday this week…

Something a little different this week…

Charlotte’s school have been doing tons of ultra cool art this term and at home we are overflowing with her creations. She has come up with the theme of ‘Art‘ for this coming Sunday’s ‘Lyrical Sunday‘. So put on your thinking caps, pull out your paintbrushes and paint pallet, don your best old shirt and join us for poetry, prose and art this Sunday!

If poetry isn’t quite your bag, then maybe link up with a favourite poem (or a new one you’ve recently discovered). Maybe take a trip down memory lane and write about a time you were inspired by art or visited an art gallery. Perhaps you might be inspired to link up with something you’ve painted and a few words of prose to describe your artwork?

Look forward to seeing what you come up with (haven’t a clue what I’m going to do yet. Charlotte has put the pressure on telling me her poem is already written!).
