Daddy’s Home for the Holidays!

With New Year’s Day and the day after being public holiday’s in New Zealand, Dan has taken off the few days between Christmas and New Year (only three!) and has a good week and a half off work all up! Yah! After the rainy Christmas Day the sun returned and the reason for the lack of blog posts – well, we’ve been having lots of fun!

Thursday, we headed to Wellington Zoo and had a fun-time playing around:

Dan particularly enjoyed playing the African safari guide – and even managed to magic up some hot-chips from the camp stove!

And at the playground afterwards the girls had a scream!

Friday, we drove up the coast, stopping first for a swim at the wave pool in Porirua. Afterwards, we drove up to Plimmerton for a beautiful stop at the little beach there (and some piano shopping! – more of that next week!).
